Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued Special Advertisement No. 52/2026 inviting online applications for 80 permanent posts of Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner (APFC) in the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Ministry of Labour & Employment.

• Total: 80 Posts (Note: 03 vacancies are reserved horizontally for PwBD candidates)

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification:

  • Essential: Bachelor’s Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.

  • Desirable: Diploma in Company Law / Labour Laws / Public Administration.

• Age Limit (as on 11-09-2026):

  • UR / EWS: 35 Years

  • OBC: 38 Years

  • SC / ST: 40 Years

  • PwBD: Up to 10 years relaxation (Max age: 56 years)

  • Central Govt. Employees / EPFO Employees: Up to 5 years relaxation.

Application Fee

• General / OBC / EWS (Male candidates): ₹25/-

• SC / ST / PwBD / All Female Candidates: Nil (Exempted)

• Payment Mode: Online via Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI, or Net Banking.

Selection Process & Exam Pattern

1. Pen & Paper-Based Recruitment Test (RT): 300 Marks

   • Duration: 2 Hours

   • Question Type: Objective Multiple Choice (Bilingual: Hindi & English)

   • Negative Marking: 1/3^rd deduction for each wrong answer

2. Interview / Personality Test: 100 Marks

3. Weightage: 75:25 (Recruitment Test : Interview)
