Educational Qualification:

• Constable (Veterinary): 10th pass with Science as main subject from a recognised board and 1 year experience in treatment of different species of animals in a recognised veterinary hospital.
• Constable (Driver) – Male: 10th pass from a recognised board and must possess a valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence.
• Constables (Gardener, Water Carrier, Cobbler, Tailor, Washerman, Barber, Waiter): Matriculation or equivalent plus either 2 years work experience in the respective trade, or 1 year certificate course from recognised ITI/Vocational institute with at least 1 year experience, or 2 years diploma from recognised ITI in the trade or similar trade; must qualify trade test; multi-skilled candidates will be given preference.
• Constable (Carpenter): Matriculation or equivalent and either 2 years work experience in the trade, or 1 year ITI/Vocational certificate with 1 year experience, or 2 years ITI diploma in the trade; must qualify trade test.
• Constable (Nursing Orderly): 10th pass, First Aid certificate from St. John’s Ambulance Organisation or Red Cross Society of India, and minimum 1 year working experience as Nursing Orderly in a 50-bedded hospital/institution recognised by Central/State Government.

Age Limit: 

• Constable (Veterinary): 18 to 27 years
• Constable (Driver) – Male: 18 to 27 years
• Constable (Gardener, Water Carrier, Cobbler, Tailor, Washerman, Barber, Waiter): 18 to 23 years
• Constable (Carpenter): 18 to 25 years
• Constable (Nursing Orderly): 18 to 27 years

Age Relaxation:

• OBC: 03 Years
• SC/ST: 05 Years
• EXM: As Per Service
