Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Marketing Division (Western Region), has issued an official recruitment notification (Advt No. IOCL/MKTG/WR/APPR/2026-27) for the engagement of 335 Trade, Technician, and Graduate Apprentices across Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Goa, Chhattisgarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, and Daman & Diu.

Selection for these positions will be made entirely on a Merit Basis (marks obtained in qualifying exams) with no written exam or interview required. Eligible candidates can submit their online applications via the NATS and NAPS portals from 05 October 2026 to 04 November 2026 (5:00 PM).

Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications

Educational Qualifications (Full-Time Regular Courses Only)

• Technician Apprentice (Codes 101–106): 3-year regular full-time Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, Electrical & Electronics, or Electronics Engineering with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).

• Trade Apprentice - ITI (Codes 107–111): Matriculation (10th Pass) plus 2-year regular full-time ITI in Fitter, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic, or Machinist recognized by NCVT/SCVT.

• Graduate Apprentice (Code 112): Full-time regular Bachelor’s Degree (BA, B.Com, B.Sc, BBA, etc.) with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).

• Trade Apprentice - Data Entry Operator (Fresher - Code 113): Class 12th pass (below graduate) with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).

• Trade Apprentice - DEO Skill Certificate Holder (Code 114): Class 12th pass (below graduate) with a valid Skill Certificate for "Domestic Data Entry Operator" under NSQF or Central Government authority.

Ineligibility Clause: Candidates holding higher professional degrees like B.E./B.Tech, MBA, MCA, CA, ICWA, or LLB (completed or pursuing) are not eligible. Distance or correspondence degrees are also not accepted.

Passing Year Window

• Technician & Graduate Apprentices: Must have completed their qualification between 01.04.2023 and 30.09.2026.

• Trade Apprentices (ITI & DEO): Must have completed their qualification between 01.04.2022 and 30.09.2026.

Age Limit (as on 30.09.2026)

• Minimum Age: 18 Years

• Maximum Age: 24 Years

• Age Relaxations:

  • SC / ST: Up to 5 years (Max 29 years)

  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): Up to 3 years (Max 27 years)

  • PwBD: Up to 10 years (Up to 15 years for SC/ST, 13 years for OBC-NCL)

Selection Process & Stipend

1. Shortlisting & Merit Preparation: Candidates are ranked purely on the basis of marks/percentage obtained in the essential qualifying examination.

2. Document Verification (DV): Shortlisted candidates will receive intimation on their registered email for physical document verification.

3. Pre-Engagement Medical Fitness: Candidates must be certified medically fit as per IOCL’s pre-engagement medical criteria.

4. Stipend: Monthly stipend is paid according to the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 and Apprenticeship Rules.
