Agniveervayu (Sports Quota) | 1) Candidates should have passed 12th STD with Mathematics, Physics and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR 2) 03 years Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/ Information Technology) with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in diploma course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma Course). OR 3) 02 years Vocational course with non-vocational subject viz. Physics and Mathematics with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in vocational course (or in Intermediate / Matriculation, if English is not a subject in vocational course). OR 4) 12th STD in any stream/subjects with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR 5) 02 years vocational course with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in vocational course (or in Intermediate / Matriculation if English is not a subject in Vocational Course) | 1) Individual should have represented the country in Junior/ Senior International competitions recognized by International Olympics committee (IOA) in any of the sports disciplines mentioned at Para 1. OR 2) Individual should have attained the minimum standard of fifth place in the Junior National competitions, representing any State/ Union Territory in Senior National competitions conducted by respective Sports Federations or All India Inter University competitions or SAI (Khelo India National) in any of the sports disciplines mentioned at Para 1.OR 3) In team events, the individual should have represented state/ UT in Junior/ Senior National competitions conducted by respective Sports Federations or All India Inter University Championship or SAI (Khelo India National) in any of the sports disciplines mentioned at Para 1. For Cricket Discipline Only. Candidates who have played All India Inter University or BCCI Trophies – U-19, U-23, Ranji Trophy, Duleep Trophy, Deodhar Trophy or higher participation are only eligible to apply. For Shooting Discipline Only. Candidates who have International Medal/ Participation representing India OR have attained the national ranking (NSCC) up to 50th rank in 10M Air Pistol/ 10M Air Rifle/ 50M Rifle 3P/ 25M Rapid Fire pistol. For Chess Discipline Only. Candidates who have live International FIDE Standard Classic Rating of 2300 and above as on date of applying are only eligible to apply. |
