🎓 Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualifications:

• Stenographer Grade-II: 12th standard pass or equivalent from a recognized Board/University.

• Tax Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent qualification.

• Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): Matriculation (10th pass) or equivalent.

2. Sports Eligibility:

• Meritorious sportspersons who have represented the Country, State/UT, University, or State School teams in recognized International, National, Inter-University, or Khelo India competitions up to August 10, 2026.

• Must possess valid sports eligibility certificates in prescribed formats (Form 1 to 5) signed by designated competent authorities.

3. Age Limit (as on 01/01/2026):

• Stenographer Grade-II: 18 to 27 years

• Tax Assistant: 18 to 27 years

• Multi-Tasking Staff: 18 to 25 years

• Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for General/OBC candidates and 10 years for SC/ST candidates.

⚙️ Selection & Skill Tests

• Order of Preference: Based on DoPT guidelines and performance/medals won at International, National, Inter-University, Khelo India, and National School games.

  • Stenographer Gr-II: Dictation for 10 min @ 80 w.p.m. | Transcription: 50 w.p.m. (English) / 65 w.p.m. (Hindi) on computer.

  • Tax Assistant: Data Entry Speed of 8,000 key depressions per hour.
