CTET EXAM SEPTEMBER 2026
The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) September 2026 will be conducted by CBSE on 6th September 2026 (Sunday), with Paper II in the morning and Paper I in the evening. Online applications are open from 11th May 2026 to 10th June 2026, and the last date for fee submission is also 10th June 2026.
Educational Qualification:
* CTET Eligibility for Paper I to V (Primary Stage)
- 12th (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR
- 12th (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE 2002 Norms OR
- 12th (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR
- 12th (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR
- Graduation with 50% Marks and 1 Year B. Ed Examination OR
- Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education
* CTET Eligibility for Paper VI to VIII (secondary Stage)
- Bachelor Degree and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B. Ed). OR
- Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B. Ed), in accordance with the NCTE Norms OR
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. OR
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. / (B.Ed Special Education)

Paper I (Classes I–V): Child Development & Pedagogy, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, Language I, Language II (150 MCQs, 150 Marks).

Paper II (Classes VI–VIII): Child Development & Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, plus either Mathematics & Science OR Social Studies/Social Science (150 MCQs, 150 Marks).

No negative marking.
