Canara Bank has officially released an employment notification for the Engagement of Graduate Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for FY 2026–27. A total of 3,500 training seats are open across various States and Union Territories in India.
Candidates holding a university degree completed between 01.01.2023 and 01.09.2026 can submit their online applications starting from 01.10.2026 to 17.10.2026.

Candidates can apply for training seats in one State only and must be proficient in the local language of that State.

1. Educational Qualification (as on 01.09.2026)

A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent recognized by the Central Government.

Graduation must have been completed between 01.01.2023 and 01.09.2026.

Prior apprenticeship training or one year or more of job experience post-graduation makes candidates ineligible.

Selection Process
Selection is conducted without a written examination:

Merit List Preparation: State-wise merit lists are generated based on the aggregate percentage of marks obtained in 12th Standard (HSC/10+2) or Diploma.

Local Language Proficiency Test: Conducted during document verification. Candidates who studied the specified local language in 10th or 12th standard (supported by mark sheet) are exempt from this test.
