BEL Recruitment 2026 official notification has been released by Bharat Electronics Limited (Advt No. 17556/HR/All-India/2026). BEL invites online applications from dynamic engineering graduates for 350 Probationary Engineer (E-II Grade) vacancies in Electronics and Mechanical engineering disciplines across India. Eligible candidates can submit their online forms starting from 28th October 2026 until 18th November 2026.

(Note: 32 backlog vacancies & 13 current vacancies are reserved for PwBD categories across streams).

Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification (AICTE Approved)

• Probationary Engineer (Electronics): First Class in B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc (4-year course) or AMIE / AMIETE / GIETE in Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Telecommunication, Communication, or Telecommunication Engineering. (Pass class for SC/ST/PwBD candidates).

• Probationary Engineer (Mechanical): First Class in B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc (4-year course) or AMIE / AMIETE / GIETE in Mechanical Engineering. (Pass class for SC/ST/PwBD candidates).

• Dual specializations or other equivalent branches are strictly not considered. Candidates with colour blindness are not eligible for these posts.

2. Age Limit (As on 01.10.2026)

• General / UR / EWS: Maximum 25 years.

• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): Upper age relaxable by 3 years (up to 28 years).

• SC / ST: Upper age relaxable by 5 years (up to 30 years).

• PwBD Candidates: Upper age relaxable by 10 years (cumulative with category relaxation).

• Ex-Servicemen: 5 years relaxation as per Govt. norms.

Salary Structure & Perks

• Grade: E-II Grade

• Pay Scale: ₹40,000 – 3% – ₹1,40,000/-

• Annual CTC: Approximately ₹13.00 Lakhs

• Benefits: Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Conveyance Allowance, Performance Related Pay (PRP), Medical Reimbursement, and other perks.

Selection Process & Exam Pattern

The selection process consists of two stages:

1. Computer Based Test (CBT): 85% Weightage (85 Marks)

2. Personal Interview: 15% Weightage (15 Marks)

Computer Based Test (CBT) Structure

• Duration: 120 Minutes (2 Hours)

• Total Questions: 125 Multiple Choice Questions

  • Core Technical Stream: 100 Questions

  • General Aptitude & Reasoning: 25 Questions

• Marking Scheme: 1 mark per correct answer; 1/4th negative mark for every incorrect answer.

• Languages: Bilingual (English & Hindi).

• Qualifying Marks: 35% for Gen/OBC/EWS and 30% for SC/ST/PwBD. Shortlisting for the interview will be done at a ratio of 1:5.

Application Fee & Payment Mode

• General / OBC (NCL) / EWS: ₹1,000/- + 18% GST = ₹1,180/-

• SC / ST / PwBD / ESM: Exempted (Nil)

• Payment Mode: Online via SBI e-Pay Lite gateway using Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI, or Wallets.
