The Office of the Directorate General Assam Rifles, Shillong has issued an official employment notification (Memo No. 1.12016/A Branch (Rect Cell)/2026/1310) announcing the Assam Rifles Technical and Tradesman Recruitment Rally 2026. Eligible male Indian citizens can submit online applications for 354 Group C posts across various technical trades.
The physical rally is tentatively scheduled to begin on 23 November 2026 onwards at designated rally centres in Assam. Applications must be submitted through the official portal from 28 September 2026 to 28 October 2026.

Selection Process & Exam Pattern
The selection process is conducted systematically in multiple stages:

RFID-Based PST & PET: Timed physical efficiency run and body measurement standards.

Computer Based Test (CBT): 100 marks online test.

Trade Skill Test: Technical practical test and computer task (qualifying nature, no marks allocated).

Detailed Medical Examination (DME) & Review Medical Exam (RME): Final fitness check as per CAPF medical guidelines.
